Dream Garage Build

THE PROJECT

The existing 1960’s era brick school building that housed 600 Red House Run Elementary School students, located in Rosedale Maryland, is being demolished to make way for a brand new school building. The current plan is to construct the new building on the existing ball fields while demolition of the existing building occurs. Construction is expected to take up to 2 years. Consulting work is being done by James Posey Associates, Inc. – a consulting engineering firm located in Owings Mills, Maryland. The new building is being designed by Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects – an architectural firm with offices in Baltimore, Maryland and York, Pennsylvania.

The portable classrooms (aka “trailers”) have been disassembled and moved into the parking lot for removal. The area where the trailers were installed is being cleaned up. Click on the pictures to see a larger view!

TenThirty. One’s aerial construction documentation has begun! As always, we first capture extensive historic “before” shots to compare how the site has changed. We’ll be capturing routine footage during construction on key days to tell the story of the build. So check back here, or on the YouTube Playlist, for updates!

As a Baltimore County Tax Payer, I’m excited to see this project come to fruition — and kids to be in a state-of-the-art learning environment — rather than overcrowded trailers!

We’ve captured other projects and areas around Baltimore.
